Meta to label more workers as ‘low interpreters’ – months after holidays from vacation

Meta Mark Zuckerberg has reported that it has expanded the number of employees to be labeled “low interpreters” in mesayar performance estimates – just months after it lowered about 4,000 employees who claimed to have been not received by expectations.

The company has told managers in teams consisting of 150 employees or higher to classify more workers than they had completed “under expectations”, according to a 14 May memorandum taken from Business Insider.

The determination is expected to apply to 15% to 20% of employees in those teams, from 12% to 15% last year.

Meta will begin its medium review process on June 16, with related meetings to continue until August.

Memo said that “there will be no performance conclusions throughout the enterprise, unlike at the beginning of this year”-though he still described the review process as an “opportunity to make exit decisions”, according to the Insider.

The expanded range will include employees who have already left what the company calls “non-regulating attraction”-or roles that are not essential for operations.

Employees who resigned or were fired from poor performance during the year are included in the figure.

It is unclear how many employees can be cut beyond the 4,000 that were fired in February.

Meta refused to comment.

Earlier this year, Zuckerberg warned employees to make an “intense year” as Meta pours out more resources in the race to develop advanced artificial intelligence.

“I have decided to raise the strip for performance management and remove the low performers faster,” Zuckerberg said at the time.

“We usually manage people who are not fulfilling expectations over a year, but now we will make wider performance -based cuts during this cycle,” Zuckerberg added.

Many of the affected workers dealt with Meta’s classifications, claiming they had received positive feedback from their managers only last year.

Meta had previously reduced thousands of jobs in 2023 as part of what Zuckerberg described as a “year of efficiency”, which included the thinning of the company’s management.
