Late CBS host Stephen Colbert matured his bosses in Paramount on Tuesday for reporting that he considered a $ 30-50 million solution with President Donald Trump to resolve his $ 20 billion lawsuit.
Colbert entered his bosses in Paramount to consider this “shady” solution with Trump, noting the warning of the Democrats that the solution risks violating the laws of bribery.
Last October, Trump initially sued CBS News and Paramount for $ 10 billion on election intervention charges involving the 60 -minute Vice president’s “60 -minute” interview, Kamala Harris, who broadcast a few weeks before the presidential election (the amount has increased to $ 20 billion).
Colbert noted that a solution can be achieved between $ 30-50 million, something that Paramount hopes would clear the road to its planned union with Skydance Media, which needs approval by Trump’s FCC. Also promoting the rumors of the solution was Monday’s sudden resignation of CEO CBS News Wendy McMahon.
Responding to the report that Drew Boos from his audience, Colbert shouted, “30 million to $ 50 million? Holy Bazingas!”
He continued, criticizing the possible agreement for violating bribe laws.
“Now, because handing over a pile of money to a president for a frivolous lawsuit to obtain your transmitted transmitted sound so shady sounds, senators Ron Wyden, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders sent a paramount HQ letter raising concerns that this possible solution endanger the laws of bribe.”
Colbert joked that although he loves whom he works, he would testify on behalf of Paramount against Trump’s claims for the “$ 50 million” low price.

“Paramount, come on. Let’s talk Turkey. Dad just wants his damp beak. You cut the check and zip!” Colbert was overwhelmed. “I’m joking, obviously. Satira, et Cetera. I would never get a bribe from CBS. If Donald Trump overcomes them!”
The late night host continued to make fun of the lawsuit, seemed to refer to Trump by accepting a plane from Qatar as a gift to his presidential library.
“Mr. President, I’m willing to testify by you in this lawsuit for $ 50 million and $ 1,” he joked. “And remember, sir, this is not a gift to me. This is a gift to Stephen Colbert’s presidential library and Pizza Hut.”
