Kathy Griffin accuses Stephen Colbert for ‘Bulls – Wait’ over fame

Kathy Griffin accused Stephen Colbert of conducting a “Bulls-Prita” in a 2018 interview at The Late Show, where the late night host, gathered the comedian for her controversial photo holding a proportion to look like President Donald Trump’s Blooded boss in 2017.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel on Tuesday, entitled “Stephen Colbert made me cry!”, Comedian recalled her show in December 2018 “The Late Show”, which took place nearly 18 months after Trump’s photo controversy.

Griffin said that when she booked the interview she demanded that Colbert not bring Trump’s photo after being tired of talking about her and a manufacturer agreed. However, just before she was decided to go on stage, she says the same person told what Colbert would ask her about it.

Griffin said she was not happy about it, but decided that she would try to distract Colbert in order to change the topic. But she said she was shocked by the way he kept pressing it in the Trump photo, comparing the experience with the grilled in “60 minutes”.

“It was a line of questions I remember thinking, ‘Wow, he has more of a prejudice against me and my right to take that picture than I imagined in my worst random scenario, that I had imagined when I couldn’t sleep the night before because I was half scared and half excited,” she said.

Griffin said she fought back tears during the interview to hide her concern from the audience.

“What was really happening was a Bulls ambush” that was “wet with misogyny,” she said, claiming that Colbert would not have grilled a male comic in the same way.

She accused Colbert of using his platform to score against a famous “D-List” man.

As she said she had high respect for Colbert, the experience poured her into the comedian.

“For him to come to me that way and see me ready to lose it … I have such a low thought of Stephen Colbert now,” Griffin added.

“Advertising,” she said.

CBS did not return a comment request.

In the 2018 interview, Colbert spent approximately 10 minutes asking Griffin for the photo and reaction she experienced from her.

“60 million Americans thought I was a member of ISIS,” Griffin said during the interview. She explained how her professional career suffered and she was allegedly under the federal investigation of plot to kill the President of the United States.

She also defended her right to make the photo under the first change, which Colbert pushed again.

“However, there are boundaries for what you can say about the President of the United States, who are specifically related to the damage against the President of the United States,” Colbert said.

“Right, which I didn’t do,” Griffin replied.

“Well, you are holding a split head -” Colbert disagreed.

“No, no. It was a mask. A mask of Halloween with Ketchup,” opposed Griffin. “Where would I get a detached head?”

“It looks like a split head. There is blood in the neck,” Colbert added.
