When we think of the iconic moments of red carpets, we photograph the faces that reproduced the reproduced by steps and repetitions, the gorgeous dresses that mark a moment in history and the old question: ‘Who wore it better?’
So when Lancôme offered us the opportunity to hear directly from the famous artist of the Herr genevie-inspiring after some of her a-list customers and how to recreate them ourselves, we can’t greet a taxi so fast.
She has created memorable images for Anna Wintour, Amanda Seyfried, Connie Britton and Katie Homes, to name some. Herr’s philosophy is about “improving what you already have, making it even more beautiful,” she told Alexa. “Everyone has something to offer.”
Herr began her journey after reading an advertisement inside Television About a course in the art of composition, but her real break came shortly after her first agent, Timothy Priano, sent her to Anna Wintour’s house to make her composition. When asked if she knew who WinTour was at the time, Herr admitted, “I had no idea.”
Wintour was so impressed that Herrin kept her personal composition artist for five years – while Julia Roberts, whom Herr met while working at Susan Sarando’s wedding, stole it away.
We spent the afternoon with Herrin at the L’Oréal headquarters, the parent company of Lancôme, founded in 1935, where it shared its best techniques and penetrations, honored with years of photography, red carpets and iconic awards.
She traversed her favorite products and even gave us an exclusive observation of some exciting summer omissions, soon to be announced in Alexa.
“I’m so much with my hands,” Herr told us about her signature appearance. It protects for a more “natural” and “real” aesthetics and avoids highly contoured styles.
“I’m not that kind, so [the Kardashians] Don’t hire me, “made fun of she.” I don’t like to change people’s faces. I like to improve what you have. ”
“If I think you will look good with a bold edge, like Amanda [Seyfried] – Amanda has beautiful lips; I will go easier to eye and focus more on the lips, ”she added, referring to the bold color of the seyfried lips in the Gala Met 2024.
Herr’s number one product is Lancôme Génifique facial serum to help create radiant skin as canvas, especially for aging skin, as it shines on the skin plump and softening fine lines.

Instead of reaching a heavy foundation, Herr chooses the serum superstit because of its constructable coverage. “You can put it with your fingers with a sponge with a brush, so it’s very flexible and you can continue to build it.” It has a soft, light substance that melts gently on your skin to hydrate natural roofing.
If you want to add more throughout the day, it recommends sprritzing in a little rose water to “refresh” and jumping into a small superstit where it is necessary, so it looks perfect after application.

This fast liquid shade and the liner is easy to apply with its two -sided applicator, and can even be used as a rash that emphasizes the site. “I don’t even work with most eyes, just work with this,” Herr said. Once it is ongoing, it is resistant to smudge and does not shave. It really doesn’t get much better than that.

Herr loves a full view using a mascara of extension lengths like the flight extension. Her secret for the red carpet lashes? “I use coffee instead of black, individual lashes,” she said before applying a black mascara. “Creates that volume in the lashes without asking so weak. I use it in Julia [Roberts]I use it almost all my celebrities when they will make a red carpet. “

The secret to the long color of the lips is about using lip lines, according to Herr. “Many people do not use them, but it is very important because it holds the composition and lipstick in place.” This liner is creamy with a matte finish, plus is waterproof.

If there were a serum to rule everyone, it would be the advanced facial serum Génifique of Lancôme. Herr swears for him as one and the only sacred bit of skin products and uses that day and night. Improves skin elasticity and gently reduces fine lines as it falls on the skin.

Although black eyeliner is a favorite fan among young women, Herr suggested lighter shades while women were aging. “I would never give the black eyeliner to someone who is a little more, you know, older.” Herr said, “I would always make coffee, or I would suggest gray.” Idôle’s lineer has an accurate tip that slips unaddressed and many color choices to match your skin.
