CNN’s leading data analyst Harry Enten on Thursday revealed stunning surveys that also showed a “non-national” Donald Trump could commute the Democrats in the voting cabin-calling it a “great awakening moment” for the president’s rival party.
“If the Democrats think that at this particular point, only because Donald Trump is unprofessional, that they will leave with him as a winner of Heisman Trophy-This is not necessarily the case. These numbers must be a great awakening moment for Democrats,” Enten said.
“When you match Donald Trump against his current competition, Donald Trump comes forward … and that is why the Democrats, in fact, cannot count their chickens alone, because those eggs have not cracked at this particular moment,” he continued.
According to CNN’s vote, 45% of registered voters believe Trump is doing a better job in the White House than former President Kamala Harris, compared to only 43% who believe in Harris. Trump’s leader falls to the survey error limit.
“This seems a lot like the election result, despite the fact that Trump’s favorable ratings are not too hot to sidewalk,” Enten said.
Surveys issued over the weekend by CBS, ABC and Washington Post, NBC, CNN and New York Times showed the decline in Trump’s favor – with one claiming that he has the lowest ratings at the beginning of a presidential mandate since World War II.
His comprehensive tariffs, for which economists have warned can heat inflation and even cause a recession, have been a special injured country. Nearly 90% of American adults said they believe taxes will raise prices for US consumers, according to a new Gallup survey.
But Enten argued that Trump’s unfavorable ratings do not seem almost drastic when viewed side by side with duty Democrats.
“After all is when you look at Donald Trump in a vacuum, it’s one thing, but when you actually match it against people in the real world, all of a sudden its numbers look significantly better,” Enten said.
When she matched the Democrats in Congress, what Enten called “Trump’s main competition at this point”, the president is still in charge.
While 40% of registered voters say they trust Trump to better handle the country’s main issues, only 32% say the same for Congress Democrats, according to CNN’s vote.
“I’m not even close. It is an eight -point advantage, which in this policy, well, this is a wide ocean,” Enten added.
The Republican Party as a whole also polls a lot on the Democrats on key issues, such as immigration and economy, which the GOP leads to 19 and nine points, respectively, according to a CNN survey.
